In January 2020, the Read Better Be Better (RBBB) team began embarking on a guided journey to ensure Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) were top priorities for the organization and its partners. What came next was a year of isolation, massive changes, the peak of two anti-racist movements, and lots of learning and unlearning.
EDI work is a journey; there is no one right way or one right answer. In this session, we will dive into the methods and processes that worked for RBBB, and the mindset necessary to both start and succeed. CEO Sophie Allen-Etchart will share the tips, tasks, and changes that allowed the organization to embed EDI work and learning into RBBB’s everyday processes.
