Join Safety for NonProfits (S4NP) to learn more about how volunteers and workers at nonprofits may be at risk of accidents and injuries and steps you can take to reduce their risk and improve the safety at your nonprofit organization.  This presentation will demonstrate why safety is important at nonprofits, cover basic safety facts and hazards and simple steps you can take to mitigate these hazards.  The video will also introduce you to S4NP, a local organization offering free health & safety consulting services to Arizona nonprofits and how to contact S4NP for support.

Aaron Bankhead is the U.S. Safety and Corporate Industrial Hygiene Manager for Hexcel Corporation.  In his twenty-five years of professional experience in organizations ranging in size from Fortune 100 to small businesses, he has developed and led world-class environmental, occupational health and safety programs (EHS) in a variety of industries including Aerospace and Pharmaceutical devices to Oil and Gas/Petrochemical and Manufacturing.  His hands-on approach to developing and implementing EHS programs has focused on robust hazard recognition and risk reduction systems to successfully prevent workplace accidents and injuries.  Aaron is a leader in addressing critical EHS issues through collaboration and has served as the President of the American Industrial Hygiene Association – Gulf Coast local section and is active in the Arizona local section. He is certified in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and holds a BS degree in Environmental Management from Arizona State University and an MPH in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Health from the University of Michigan.
