Lesli Pintor is a retired financial and nonprofit executive residing in southern Arizona. She spent 32 years in the banking industry, serving in roles as varied as branch manager, state and federal bank regulator, internal bank loan review, loan policy manager, and commercial real estate loan officer and manager before taking a detour to teach business communications at the University of Arizona Eller College of Management. She concluded her career as Executive Director of Growth Partners Arizona (GPAz), a nonprofit community loan fund focused on providing loans and technical assistance to Arizona nonprofit organizations and underserved small businesses, growing the organization 300% in 3 years.
During her career, Lesli was also a corporate leadership and credit trainer, and is certified in conducting behavioral assessments. She created and led a professional women’s networking group and a formal corporate mentoring program. Lesli is currently a mentor for the Tucson Metro Chamber’s Emerging Leaders Council.
Lesli has served on many nonprofit boards, including the Nonprofit Loan Fund of Tucson and Southern Arizona (now Growth Partners Arizona), Arizona Small Business Association, Earn to Learn, a scholarship program for low-income, first-generation college students, and Pima Community College Foundation. In addition, her work at Eller included 13 student consulting projects for Tucson nonprofit organizations.
